We are excited to invite experienced Collections Specialist candidates to join our dynamic legal team.
The Collections Specialist will be responsible for negotiating with creditors to reduce outstanding liens on behalf of our clients. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of lien laws, and the ability to work with various parties to resolve complex financial matters.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing liens placed against clients.
- Contacting lien holders to negotiate favorable settlements or payment arrangements.
- Communicating with clients to provide updates on the status of lien negotiations and advising them on potential outcomes.
- Documenting all communication and negotiations related to liens.
- Providing recommendations to clients on the best course of action regarding lien resolution.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- In addition to the above responsibilities, you may be required to assist with other case management tasks when needed,
- Coordinate with other departments or external parties to obtain necessary information or documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in lien negotiation, preferably in a legal setting.
- Experience with Sales is a must
- Excellent Negotiation Skills
- Personal Injury Experience and Legal Experience is recommended but not required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule.
- Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps
