This is an onsite role in Dallas, Jersey City, Boston or Tampa. Must be willing to sit in one of these locations at least 3x/week.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to alerts and incidents in production environment
- Investigate and resolve issues with supported applications
- Create knowledge base articles for known issues and resolutions
- Collaborate with team members to look for opportunities for process improvements and automation of manual tasks
- Support acceptance testing and disaster recovery activities to ensure applications are working as expected
Required Skills- Experience supporting Enterprise and Mission Critical applications
- Background supporting and/or developing Mainframe Cobol applications; using JCL, Enterprise scheduling tools, and relational databases
Bonus Skills- Experience supporting applications in the financial industry; experience with client/server and web-based applications
