Junior Project Manager (Infrastructure - Data Center)

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate projects within Information Technology Ops group
Partner with agile development teams to help develop and track project roadmaps.
Create accountability with clear progress reporting based on a deep understanding of where barriers to execution exist.
Provide clear transparency to our stakeholders and management as it relates to project status.

Qualifications:

1-2 years Experience Project Managing within IT Infrastructure Operations
Minimum of 1 year of Data Center Migration project experience (assessments, migrations, consolidations, virtualization projects, etc.)
A holistic understanding of IT infrastructure inclusive of server, storage, network, database, systems, DR/business recovery and continuity practices, etc.
A foundational understanding of public cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
Familiar with application and workload dependencies, architecture and service level requirements
Applied understanding of data center functions, technologies and interdependencies
Excellent communication, organization and writing skills are required
Ability to create and manage budgets
Help define and streamline major efforts in hardware installations, builds, migrations and decommissions of all
Understanding of computer, and network technology with ability to communicate to both engineers and non-engineers without losing critical details
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
The ability to take ownership and responsibility of issues and handle them effectively to resolution
