Comprehensive Position Profile
Executive Director
Reports to: Board of Directors
Organizational Overview:
Founded in 2020, Bridges Alternative Peer Group (Bridges) is a beacon of hope for teens and young adults facing the challenges of addiction. Serving the greater Seattle area, Bridges is a nonprofit that provides a safe, sober space for teens to recover and reimagine what is possible for their lives. Through peer-to-peer, community-based, and professionally staffed positive peer support programs we offer pro-social fun substance-free activities.
We foster a community-based, family-centered healing environment that promotes understanding, support, and empowerment. Our inclusive, relational program is designed to help teens, and their families heal and thrive. Our parent program runs alongside our youth program and offers peer-to-peer support for parents as they move from fear to actively supporting their child's recovery.
Bridges has established a strong foundation with effective and evidence-based client-centered and community-grounded programming, an annual budget of $450,000, three dedicated staff, a talented working board, and committed donors. Bridges has supported over 100 families, achieving an impressive success rate in maintaining long-term sobriety among participants.
As demand for services exceeds current capacity, Bridges is committed to expanding its reach to serve more youth and families in need. We seek a dynamic, motivational, and relational leader to take Bridges to the next level. As our new Executive Director, you will lead with innovation and compassion, helping us evolve and scale while preserving the integrity and empathy that define our work.
