Role Summary

We are seeking a Prime Brokerage Professional to add to our successful and expanding Hong Kong team, who will be responsible in supporting both the team and its clients.

The candidate will be responsible for resolving a wide scope of operational queries including asset servicing, trade settlement, collateral, swaps, stock loan and reporting.

To help ensure our clients continue to receive an outstanding level of service, we are looking for a professional who is exceptionally organized, detail oriented and able to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

The successful candidate will need to exhibit strong academic knowledge, superior analytical and computer expertise, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ work experience in Operations
• Knowledge of investment types and financial markets
• Demonstrate understanding with reconciliation, trade input and accounting reporting
• Middle Office/Operational support experience
• Maintains a professional business demeanor and work with a sense of urgency
• Customer focused attitude, and able to interface directly with clients
• Ensure high levels of confidentiality are maintained in relation to the work of the company and clients.
• Outstanding written and verbal English communications skills
• Open minded, outgoing and enthusiastic

• The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time

Additional Competencies and Skills

• Experience with Advent Geneva Portfolio Accounting System, or similar
• Prime Brokerage operational experience
• Ability to use Excel to manipulate and summarize financial data
• Effective Mandarin speaking and writing is preferable to support clients’ needs.
• Relevant university degree in finance, economics or related discipline, or recognized professional or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience.
