The team
Global Delivery are Hitachi Vantara’s customer-facing technical team, that works day-to-day with our enterprise clients across all industries. They deliver solutions and services to Hitachi Vantara customers, on time and on budget, whilst ensuring profitable business for the company. This team are a highly technical, customer centric group that work side by side with our customers technical teams and are the ambassadors for Hitachi Vantara.
The role
The Associate Technical Consultant is responsible for providing post-sales technical delivery capability to customers. This role collaborates with other support functions to drive Hitachi Vantara product and services revenues while maximizing customer satisfaction. An Associate Technical Consultant participates in the design configuration, implementation, and documentation of HV solutions for a wide range of customers. The role requires you to perform the assigned tasks, while building a customer's confidence in Hitachi Vantara, Hitachi Vantara's technology, and Hitachi Vantara’s services team. The Associate Technical Consultant delivers handover information to integration and support staff. They maintain a can-do attitude, earns a reputation of trust, integrity, and high performance. We are looking for an early-career IT Professional or Graduate in Computer/Engineering/Mathematics or similar, ideally with a minimum two to four years relevant data storage technologies or associated technical
expertise. The Associate Technical Consultant is customer oriented, keen to learn a broad range of technical competencies and capable of working both independently and as a part of a team. The role will provide the individual with opportunities to work in a multicultural organisation, being a part of our Global Delivery team providing services to our customers based in Northern Italy.
You'll have the possibility of developing your career with multinational company, investing in certifications and training. You should be a curious character and enjoy working with innovative data technologies. The candidate will work with products and solutions from Hitachi Vantara’s portfolio and other best-in-class products.
What you’ll bring
• Two-to-four years' of technical background with data storage technologies or associated technical expertise (Storage, Network, Compute, Operating Systems and Mainframe, SAN/FICON Network).
• A demonstrated ability to complete tasks within a project from inception through delivery and completion, either independently or by building mutual support and understanding with colleagues within a project team.
• Strong analytical skills, inquisitive and methodical.
• Keen to learn and develop.
• Equally capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Italian, English).
• A willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel
Experience with one or more of the following would be highly desirable:
• Mainframe, SAN/FICON Network
• Programming/Scripting
• Knowledge of Hitachi products and services
