Department:               Psychiatry       

Reports to:                 Supervising Physician & Director/Associate Director of Physician Offices

Job Summary:            Responsibilities of ARNP/PA under general supervision of provider

Psychiatry department is seeking a motivated, full-time APRN/ PA. Psychiatry certified preferred (PMHNP), but not required.

Keys to Success in this Role:

• Evaluate patients and treat health conditions
• Complete documentation in a timely manner
• Enter charges
• Assist supervising provider with completion of tasks
• Ensure tasks, labs, and diagnostics have been reviewed and addressed as needed
• Attend all required meetings/conferences

Job Qualifications:

• Licensed APRN or PA Certification with the State of Florida
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency
• Psych certified preferred
• Ability to plan ahead, organize, and manage multiple priorities
• Minimum one year experience in a similar role preferred

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Normal physical ability
• Above average concentration and high level complexity of decision making
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Tolerance to stressful situations
