Push from environmental targets and pull from consumers and brands drive demand for novel circular systems where resources are reused or recycled in a closed loop.</p><p>The world’s first system of its kind for reusable takeaway packaging was successfully launched by TOMRA Reuse in Aarhus, Denmark in January 2024. To prepare for further expansion, TOMRA Reuse is gearing up its capacity to deliver new solutions by strengthening our competence and capability within software and hardware development. </p><p></p><h4><strong><br></strong></h4><h4><strong>The Position: Embedded SW Developer</strong></h4><p>As an Embedded SW Developer at TOMRA Reuse, you´ll have a key role in a small, multidisciplinary team consisting of 13 people, organized as a corporate start-up. You´ll contribute to the design and implementation of the embedded models and systems TOMRA is developing. </p><p>The position offers a high level of freedom, minimum bureaucracy, and varied work. Your typical day will be a dynamic blend of desk work, lab time at TOMRA, and hands-on experience at customer installations.<br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Contribute to the conceptual development of novel holistic systems based on reusable packaging. </li> <li>Use-case modeling for all relevant stakeholders.</li> <li>Specification of system requirements and architecture.</li> <li>Development of embedded HW and SW modules, from idea to industrialization of stable environments deployed in a global market.</li> <li>Complete software stack for a brand new generation of automated collection points/reverse vending machines.</li> <li>Developing the market’s most attractive solutions contributing to establishing a new solid business area within the TOMRA group.</li></ul><p>To deliver on your responsibilities you will work closely with different engineering disciplines, project managers, customers, and other stakeholders.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong></strong>For this position, we´ll place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
