The Trade Desk is seeking an inspirational Regional Director, Workplace Services leader to join our dynamic Workplace Services Team. This role will oversee our APAC Workplace Services team of 10 talented Workplace professionals, across a diverse portfolio of countries and cultures. Regional Directors lead teams that are responsible for creating a “best in class” workplace experience by delivering people-centric culture and morale programs, overseeing office operations and vendor services, driving workplace communications, managing senior level stakeholder relations, and identifying ongoing opportunities for improvement.
This is a leadership position within the Workplace Services team and is expected to bring strong supervisory and mentorship qualities that guide and educate team members to ensure successful delivery of programs and services that positively impact the workplace culture and employee productivity. The Regional Director develops budgets, manages costs, coordinates service provider delivery, and makes decisions that balance the needs of the department and the business.

What you’ll do:
- Manage a geographically distributed team by establishing clear goals and objectives that are aligned to the broader Workplace Services department’s strategic goals.
- Supervise, coach, and direct the team’s activities to help them achieve department goals and objectives in addition to supporting special projects, initiatives, and/or events at the local and company-wide levels.
- Conduct career conversations, provide ongoing feedback, and mentor employees to help them build/strengthen job competencies, expand their responsibilities, and enhance overall impact to the organization.
- Lead efforts to elevate the holistic workplace experience by demonstrating a strong hospitality focus across a wide array of services such as: employee and guest arrival experience, culinary, health and safety, space management, office culture & morale activation, events support, and office operations.
- Maintain and influence effective relationships with senior business leaders and teams across functional areas throughout the organization that effectively balance the needs of the workplace team, the office, and the business.
- Lead communication efforts for our team, draft and communicate difficult concepts across various platforms with professionalism, creativity, and clarity in a way that effectively influences others.
- Partner with members of the Real Estate and IT teams and other departments to help ensure the successful completion of special projects.
- Manage regional budgets for efficiency and enhanced productivity.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and address service concerns through timely feedback and performance reviews.
- Partner with HR and senior leaders to coordinate and communicate information to employees and visitors in a timely manner to ensure a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
Who you are:
- 10+ years in leading Workplace Services or Office Management functions at global organisations.
- Worked across the majority of APAC locations i.e. India, Singapore, China, Australia managing the offices and driven employee enjoyment. Making it a place people want to work at!
- Experience working with global senior leadership including C-suite.
- Proven leadership skills with an ability to motivate, engage, and develop talent across multiple backgrounds and cultures.
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
- Demonstrated comfort working in ambiguous environments, with an ability to adapt self and team to shifting priorities.
- Excellent decision quality, understand how decisions have an impact across teams, offices, and global objectives.
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills, driving towards common ground solutions.
- Strong Project Management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in common Workplace Tools such as: MS Office Suite, Envoy, Office Space, and Jira, and Confluence.
- Able to respond after hours for emergencies and able to work outside of designated hours as needed.
