Business Controller (f/m/x)

As a Business Controller (f/m/x), you will be part of our Hong Kong office to support Sourcing, Quality & Finance, you will work every day together with HK and Berlin management team for better decisions and will identify new opportunities and initiate actions to improve our profitability and competitive advantage. Your tools are data, facts and figures, to which you add insights and recommendations. You will be leading performance management and be the project management officer for our key business initiatives.

What you will do:  

• Lead global Sourcing and Quality dashboard and related KPI’s for a continuous optimization of our Sourcing performance and processes
• Examine, analyze, validate large data sets from DWH by different software and files, etc.
• In-price development (FOB respectively COGS) and our cost database, supplier performance respectively supplier consolidation management
• Drive operational excellency through improving tools and processes, integrating our part into our full “end to end” process working closely with related functions: Product, Quality Purchasing and Logistics
• Digital transformation as in procurement analytics and product life cycle management by identifying and implementing best solutions on the market
• Project management officer for sourcing and supply chain related projects and assessing their financial impact
• Opex & Capex budget and follow-up for Hong Kong office
• Any ad hoc tasks

What we are looking for:  

• Degree in Finance (preferable) or Accounting, Business Management or a comparable professional experience
• At least 3 to 5 years related professional experiences.
• Result oriented person with the ability to implement, deliver results and follow up
• Leadership capability, ability to create clarity and excellent analytical skills
• Proactive, take initiative and have the creative ability to find new solutions and challenge the existing ones
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience using business intelligence reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL and or Tableau)
• Strategic as to be able to envision and articulate “the big picture” and help colleagues understand our company’s goals
• Positive, energetic and a great team player
• Demonstrated experience in business and organisational transformation
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
