The Opportunity:

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Lead in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of IT services within the organization. Your primary focus will be supporting the IT Service Delivery team in resolution of service issues, procurement of IT hardware, software and licences, arranging delivery of hardware, working with other internal IT teams and external Suppliers, supporting the running of the Change Authorisation Board and assisting with IT migration projects.

You will be working within a supportive and dynamic team, who ensure excellent service delivery is at the heart of everything they do. This role is a great opportunity to contribute to excellent standard of the IT Service delivery team, while taking on more responsibility and developing your knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of and manage the purchase of end user computing hardware, software and licenses.
  • Raise purchase orders for the IT Service Delivery team and support other IT teams on following the process.
  • Arrange delivery and return of end user computing hardware to other offices and remote users within the UK and globally.
  • Support the IT Service Delivery team in delivering efficient IT services to the business and other IT areas.
  • Support the IT Service Delivery team and Change Managers with running the Change Authorisation Board weekly calls.
  • Support the IT Service Delivery team in monitoring performance and managing relationships with external Suppliers and Managed Service Providers.
  • Own and manage smaller ad-hoc projects such as migration of hardware or software.
  • Assist with larger ad-hoc projects within the IT Service Delivery team as required.
  • Look for opportunities for increased efficiency and cost saving.
  • Monitoring incident performance.
  • Encourage adoption and adherence of IT policies and processes across IT and business teams.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Proven experience in an IT Service Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Previous experience working with external suppliers.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • The ability to take initiative and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in the Events or Exhibitions industry is desirable but not essential.
  • An understanding of ITIL concepts or having worked in an ITIL environment is desirable but not essential.
