We’re gathering interest for a role with Automattic for Agencies, a team dedicated to empowering agencies and developers to create exceptional WordPress websites and online experiences. Our mission is to help agencies fully leverage our platform’s capabilities to elevate their client offerings, streamline operations, and drive sustainable growth.
As a Sales Engineer with Automattic for Agencies, you’ll play a key role in driving growth by converting prospects into loyal agency customers. You’ll support agencies by helping them understand the value of our tools, hosting solutions, and other site management offerings. This role involves using a consultative sales approach to engage with new and existing accounts, building a deep understanding of their needs and how our products can meet them.
Key responsibilities include working with inbound and outbound leads, expanding relationships with agencies, and articulating the benefits of our solutions across various industries. You’ll also be responsible for onboarding new agencies, providing initial education and training, and ensuring a smooth handoff to Partner Managers for larger accounts.
We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering value to agency customers, have strong communication skills, and can effectively uncover customer needs. If you have experience in business development, managing complex sales cycles, and building successful customer relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
