As the AVP of Brand & Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's public image, driving growth, and ensuring that marketing efforts contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
You are required to develop and execute innovative branding strategies that resonate with our target audience, reinforce our brand values, and drive brand recognition and loyalty through various channels. You will be a strategic thought leader working with the leadership team to elevate the company’s presence across South East Asia.
Brand Strategy and Development
- Develop a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Define and communicate the brand's unique value proposition and positioning in the market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Lead the overall budget/media planning with a view to create maximum returns.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Utilize consumer insights to refine and adapt the brand strategy as needed.
- Leading the development of end-to-end marketing campaigns that promote the company's products or services, both online and offline strategies.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of branding initiatives through many channels, including digital marketing.
- Analyze data and report on the performance of brand campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Brand Identity and Design
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines, including logos, colors, typography, and visual assets.
- Work closely with designers to ensure that all marketing materials, both digital and offline, adhere to brand standards.
Content and Messaging
- Craft compelling and consistent brand messaging that resonates with our target audience.
- Develop content strategies that reflect the brand's personality and values across various channels, including social media, website, and advertising campaigns
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team within the company’s operational countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam) including leading existing teams working on content, creative designs, public relations, and performance marketing including any social media related.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment to drive innovation in branding efforts.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience, with a track record of increasing responsibility and leadership.
- Experience in brand management and developing comprehensive brand strategies is crucial, especially if the role has a strong branding focus.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing brand strategies that have driven brand growth and recognition.
