Location: Guildford, UK  

Format: on-site (minimum of 3 days per week working from the office)  

Duration: 6 months 

Working hours: full-time

Planned start: October

Eligibility: candidates are required to hold valid work permit/ visa at the time of the application

Overview 

Join our team of professionals as we prepare our brand new live-service, F2P unannounced game.  

If you have a passion for gaming, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, this is your chance to shine in a crucial role that directly impacts the quality of our games. You will work closely with experienced professionals and play an integral part in bringing our upcoming game title to audiences worldwide!

What will you do? 

  • Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand game requirements 
  • Design and execute manual test cases to validate functionality and usability 
  • Conduct functional, regression, and compatibility testing 
  • Identify, report, and track bugs and issues found during testing 
  • Test documentation design and maintenance (cases, checklists) 

  • Take an active role in the development of features 

What are we looking for? 

  • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices 
  • Understanding of test documentation preparation (test plans, suites, scenarios, and checklists) 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and good communication skills 
  • Desire to develop skills in software quality assurance 

What will help you stand out? 

  • Love of games, especially shooter and action games
  • Experience as a QA or have completed QA courses 
  • Experience in game development projects (an MMO project would be an advantage) 
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle 
  • Knowledge of the Unreal Engine or Unity
