Requirements

The Purpose:

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst your role is pivotal in driving strategic decisions across AP+. You will lead the way in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets, contributing to the organization’s growth and success. Your expertise will shape our data-driven approach and you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful outcomes based on supplied requirements or precedent and adapt existing or devise new approaches to resolve objectives and issues.

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advanced Data Interpretation and Communication, extracting insights from diverse sources showcasing an analytical and inquisitive mindset, and proactively communicate these findings to varying audiences.
• Exhibiting Reporting Excellence, you take ownership of the reporting suite of your assigned AP+ reporting suite, using effective technical, visualisation and communication skills to deliver and maintain reports based on business requirements.
• Take ownership of data quality and ensure actionable uses organisation-wide, independently identifying and addressing complex issues.
• Take the lead in developing and managing processes, frameworks, and tools to deliver data-based outcomes.
• Propose and deliver solutions and innovations that align with business and project goals, fostering creative thinking and finding new ways to complete tasks and adapt to changing needs of the business.
• Experienced collaborator, frequently advising others on complex data matters, networking and collaborating with the broader business. Occasionally acting as a lead or subject matter expert in projects, providing advice, guidance or mentorship to colleagues.

We'd love to hear from you if have:

• 4-5 years of experience in Data & Insights/ Business Intelligence within a business context.
• A love for data storytelling; visually, verbally and in written communications, demonstrating the ability to interpret data visually and verbally.
• Strong experience with Power BI, Power pivot, Power query, DAX, Advanced Excel, SQL & Python.
• Knowledge of BI tools, data platforms, technology and infrastructure.
