EMC Technician- Grand Rapids, Michigan

What you will get to do:
- Perform EMC testing to evaluate and improve electronic product performance
- Author and review test reports
- Document test data and keep lab systems up to date
- Prepare test benches and equipment setups for testing
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner within the scope of the project
- Keep lab areas clean and functional to maintain productivity and cleanliness * Maintain and improve lab tests including software and hardware tools * Maintain and repair lab equipment including scheduling and performing equipment calibration & verifications
What will make you successful:
- ASEE, AEET or related degree
- Familiarity with EMC requirements from multiple industries (eg. medical, automotive, aerospace, military, consumer…)
- Ability to plan, work as a team in a fast-paced changing environment
- Be organized and follow EMC laboratory structure, processes and policies
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on customer satisfaction/service
- Experience using Google and Microsoft Applications
- Must have current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without sponsorship
