The ever-growing Consumer team has an immediate opening for an Account Executive to help with select well-known beauty brands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a communications professional who wants to be part of a fun loving team that encourages critical thinking as much as creativity (aka the best of both worlds!). We’re looking for someone who has 3-4+ years’ PR and influencer experience, and that will bring energy, excitement and passion to the position.

What You’ll Do:

As an Account Executive, you’ll be helping execute key PR and influencer initiatives for an anchor beauty business, with a lot of opportunity for growth and visibility. You’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in integrated programs with a very talented, very collaborative, and inspiring team that will have your back no matter what. In this role, you will work on the dermatology (“derma”) side of the Beiersdorf business on the Aquaphor account. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering excellent client service and account management
  • Multitasking across multiple initiatives while ensuring timeliness of deliverables and consistent client and internal communication
  • Working on influencer campaigns from start to finish including compiling rosters, conducting outreach, negotiating, contracting, crafting briefs, reviewing content, and managing live dates
  • Analyzing and reporting on results on a campaign and recurring basis to identify key learnings that inform future tactics 
  • Collaborating with agency partners including paid media, organic social, and shopper to optimize campaigns
  • Participating in creative concepting for campaigns and experiential moments
  • Driving significant media placements across print, online, and broadcast through active pitching and out-of-the-box press activations
  • Engaging with key media to build relationships and brand affinity
  • Helping produce influencer and press events (and mailers) including managing vendors, designing branded elements, and overseeing logistics.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ dedicated experience in influencer marketing and traditional PR, working as part of an integrated agency team (IAT) a plus
  • Experience managing and mentoring 1-2 direct reports 
  • Proven ability to effectively organize multiple deadlines across accounts and teams
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator, creative thinker, and advanced writer 
  • Reliable industry relationships (media, influencers etc.)
  • Experience building client relationships and client comms

Nice to Have:

  • Experience and/or passion for beauty/CPG brands, specifically skincare
  • Experience working with dermatologists / dermatology brands
  • In touch with cultural and industry trends

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event. 

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
