AppSec Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced AppSec Engineer. As an AppSec Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conduct application security assessments and analyze vulnerabilities,
• Develop and implement secure coding practices and guidelines,
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC,
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches,
• Perform regular security audits and risk assessments of applications and systems,
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AppSec trends and technologies,
• Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices,
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field,
• Proven experience as an AppSec Engineer or related role,
• Strong knowledge of application security best practices and frameworks,
• Experience with manual and automated penetration testing techniques,
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities,
• Experience with web application security tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP,
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make informed decisions,
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills,
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP are preferred but not required.
• in Java/JavaScript/.NET/Python programming languages and respective package, managers to provide effective remediation advice for developers.
