Job Description Physician
Position Summary: Manages and provides acute, chronic, preventive, curative and rehabilitative medical care to patients and determines appropriate regimen in specialized areas such as family practice, internal medicine and geriatrics with experience in transitions of care, chronic
disease, advanced goals of care discussion and palliative management.
We also are also expanding our programs and are interested in Specialty Physicians: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric, OBGYN and Pediatrics
Position Requirements: Education Required (Minimum level of education): Graduate from accredited school of Medicine
Certifications/Licenses Required: Current CA MD or DO and DEA license. CPR/BLS certification. Board certified or eligible in primary care specialty
Preferred: ACLS certification
Required (Minimum level of experience): Completion of clinical training
Preferred: - 1 year post completion of clinical training
- Employment in community health center
- Experience working with elderly population
- Verbal and Written Skills Required to Perform the Job: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Medical Spanish
Technical Knowledge and Skills Preferred to Perform the Job: Skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy.
