Blue Man Group Boston is looking to hire for a part-time Carpenter position.
Responsibilities include running shows cues, handling props & scenic elements, flying overhead pieces, and maintenance duties as directed by the Carpentry & Automation Supervsior. Additional duties may include outside appearances as needed. Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds regularly.
Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and work well in a high-energy environment. Nighttime and weekend availability, a flexible schedule (especially during the holiday season), experience with backstage show runs, and basic hand tool skills an asset.
