As the Bilingual Lead Oral Surgery Registered Dental Assistant at Community Dental Partners, you'll be at the heart ❤️ of our practice, supporting our talented oral surgeons 🦷 during treatments, exams, and patient consultations. You’ll oversee back-office functions and mentor a fantastic team, all while growing and challenging yourself professionally 📈.
What You'll Do:
- Patient Prep: Greet and prepare patients for consults and monitor patients before, during and after oral surgery procedures, 📝.
- Patient Advocate: Strategic patient/customer service experience regarding consents and post operative instructions ✨.
- Process Improvement: Manage patient flow and streamline visits, ensuring maximum efficiency on oral surgery day ⏱️.
- Imaging Expert: Capture high-quality x-ray images 📸.
- Treatment Assistant: Assist Oral Surgeon with a variety of procedures and consults, Complete doctor notes after treatment 🛠️.
- Sedation Savvy: Support Oral Surgeon with IV sedation! 😌
- Sterilization Station: Delegate and support the setup and sterilization of exam and treatment rooms ,🚿.
- Equipment: Monitor and maintain proper usage and care of oral surgery equipment; including capnography machine and implant motors/handpieces. Secure and inventory of equipment for traveling oral surgery day, ✨.
- Team Leader: Teach team members scheduling, patient care, and sterilization standards, Management and ordering of supplied within a monthly budget, implant logs and sedation logs on non oral surgery days. 👩🏫
- Guidance Guru: Guide patients through post-care instructions and assist with company-provided prizes and dismissal 🎁.
- HIPAA Hero: Understand and adhere to HIPAA guidelines 🛡️.
- Inventory Insider: Complete inventory orders and stick to the office budget 💼.
About You:
- Licensing: Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing (1 year) 📜. Nitrous Oxide preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of dental assisting experience 🦷.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS Certified
- Skills: Proficient in dental terminology and front and back office procedures, familiar with Open Dental Software (preferred), sterilization, and OSHA guidelines and procedures. 💻.
- Leadership: Experience training team members and conducting challenging conversations 🗣️.
- Key Traits: Strong communicator, self-starter, flexible, innovative, highly engaged, detail-oriented, and a team player with stellar customer service skills, Ability to build a strong relationship with partnering offices 🌟.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time.
