Position Summary:
 
As the Product Management Commercial Solutions Lead, you will be entrusted with defining, developing, and executing a visionary strategy for our commercial product portfolio. You will work at the intersection of energy, finance, and data, ensuring our solutions are not only innovative but deliver exceptional value to commercial customers. Collaborating across teams and with executive leadership, you will spearhead the creation of data-driven, high-impact solutions that set new industry standards.

Your dynamic leadership will shape the future of our product offerings, drive measurable growth for our business, and enhance client success. You will be responsible for establishing product vision, prioritizing product initiatives, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic Leadership for Commercial Solutions:
  • Define and champion a comprehensive product strategy for our commercial solutions portfolio, integrating insights from energy, finance, and technology.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align product initiatives with corporate goals, ensuring that our product vision supports the company’s growth objectives.

  • Holistic Product Lifecycle Ownership:
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and design to market launch and iteration—ensuring products meet customer needs and drive commercial success.
  • Establish processes for continuous improvement and innovation across all stages of product development.

  • Collaborative Product Road Mapping:
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders, including Product Marketing and Data Product, to create and execute an agile product roadmap that adapts to market shifts and customer demands.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed on product direction and priorities.

  • Innovation in Commercial Solutions:
  • Drive the development of cutting-edge solutions that transform how businesses leverage energy, finance, and technology.
  • Utilize market insights, customer feedback, and data analytics to design solutions that exceed expectations and position the company as a market leader.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment:
  • Inspire and lead cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, marketing, and data experts—to deliver world-class products with a customer-first mindset.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and accountability, empowering teams to take ownership of their initiatives and drive success.

  • Build & Lead a High-Performance Team:
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence, empowering your team to deliver world-class products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Required Abilities and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to craft and execute a visionary product strategy, translating complex customer needs and market opportunities into game-changing commercial solutions that drive real-world impact.
  • A deep commitment to understanding the unique needs of commercial customers and translating these insights into meaningful, innovative product offerings that solve their most critical challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data, market research, and KPIs to make informed product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and business needs. 

Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a strong track record of success in commercial solutions. Expertise in Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) or related industries is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of energy, finance, and data-driven product offerings.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technical and business aspects of commercial energy, finance, and data/technology products. Proven ability to bridge the gap between complex technologies and market-ready, customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience leading and inspiring cross-functional teams, with a strong ability to collaborate and align engineering, sales, marketing, and data teams to achieve shared goals. 

Travel

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

  • Expected annual salary: $132,643 - $153,790 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
