Staff Backend Engineer (.Net)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and performant backend systems using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, etc.)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team
• Stay up-to-date on the latest .NET technologies and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for backend systems
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a strong focus on .NET development
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable backend systems
• In-depth knowledge of .NET frameworks (C#, ASP.NET, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
