Position Summary: Our Culture is to provide an excellent patient experience, through teamwork, a positive attitude and great customer service.

The Insurance Coordinator is the primary contact for our patients and their accounts when it comes to insurance. We represent the entire practice. A pleasant demeanor, professional behavior and attention to detail are the cornerstones of our department. They are responsible for managing the monies associated with the patient accounts and keeping accurate ledgers. This is a remote position. Must have a quiet area free from distractions for office setup during working hours.

Key Expectations:

★ Positive attitude

★ Provide excellent customer service to every patient and family

★ Excellent phone etiquette

★ Strong home internet connection

★ Strong understanding of fee structure

★ In-Depth understanding of Ortho Insurance coverage for multiple carriers

★ Knowledge of Cloud9

★ Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

★ Self motivated

★ Be able to manage time effectively for a fast pace department

★ Follow all company policies and procedures

★ Being able to manage multiple offices throughout the day


Daily Tasks:
(including but not limited to)

★ Verify Insurance coverage for new patient exams

★ Verify Insurance coverage for active patients for new policies

★ Handle insurance calls that come in from office and direct calls in regards to orthodontic coverage

★ Stay on task and ahead of schedule

★ Work with Ortho Billing Team members on missing insurance information needed

★ Verifying the orthodontic fee schedules are current and up to date.

Schedule and Location:
Monday -Thursday. 7:45-5pm and Fridays 7:45am-3pm
