Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Lead Materials Support Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!

 

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Materials Manager you will act as the focal point for our day to day supply chain. This is a Senior role responsible for maintaining oversight and management of a small team.
  • As Materials Support Engineer Lead, you will provide support to the Wheel and Brake distribution function and Rotable Life limited parts replacement program.
  • Monitor and resolve regular supply chain bottlenecks resulting in parts being in inaccessible locations such as Repair admin, Hangar and transfer Reports.
  • Liaise with Line Maintenance to ensure smooth operation of our internal supply chain.
  • Assist with priority part re-distribution and consolidation of stock reallocation per our station parts alert program.
  • Assist the with annual Review of the effectiveness of or supply chain.

Requirements

  • Relevant engineering qualification or aircraft maintenance technician qualification or 5 years relevant work experience in similar role.
  • The successful person will be able to drive efficiency improvements to our internal materials supply chain.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organization.
  • You will have a proven successful track record in an aircraft engineering/materials organization and will be able to demonstrate exceptional technical, commercial and organizational skills.
