We're a leading provider of employment services, and we're on the hunt for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our service portfolio to meet the ever-evolving market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth & Sales Strategy: Craft and execute a winning business development strategy to fuel growth, focusing on both new client acquisition and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Lead Generation: Be the mastermind behind identifying and prospecting potential clients across various markets. Manage digital lead generation campaigns from start to finish, including market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Lead the charge in preparing and presenting proposals, contracts, and service agreements. Negotiate terms and close deals like a pro.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping informed of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide strategic insights and drive business opportunities.
  • Partnership Development: Forge powerful partnerships with businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance our service offerings and expand our market presence.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Set KPIs, track and report on lead generation campaigns, business development activities, sales pipeline, revenue growth, and client feedback. Use HubSpot to keep accurate records of leads, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work in hand with the marketing and operations teams to align business development efforts with service delivery, ensuring seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in business development or sales within the employment services industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Proven track record of smashing sales targets and growing a client base.
  • Top-notch negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and workforce solutions is a big plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
