Associate Coordinator, Partnership Services - Roadrunner Sports Properties (Part Time)

Roadrunner Sports Properties is LEARFIELD’s local, dedicated entity representing California State University. In complete collaboration with the university, this team is committed to extending the affinity of the University’s brand to businesses and corporations of all sizes looking to align with the undeniably loyal and passionate collegiate sports fan base.

As exclusive multimedia rights holder for the University, our team manages all aspects of the rights relationship. Providing corporate partners with traditional, digital, and other non-traditional media opportunities to bolster their own brand and garner maximum exposure through inventory such as venue signage; digital engagement including social media, the official athletics website, content, digital gaming and retargeting, event sponsorships, and promotion; corporate hospitality; television and radio game broadcasts and coaches’ shows.

LEARFIELD is actively seeking a part-time Associate Coordinator to work on campus from Bakersfield, CA. Our highly-valued Coordinators are a critical piece of our puzzle!  Without their contributions, the property could not deliver on its commitments.  We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Coordinator to provide the necessary support to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with game day and event operations and management, including set up of select in-venue signage, hospitality events/suites, and game day displays
• Fulfillment of on and off-field/court promotions for corporate sponsors (displays, promotional handouts, contests, etc.)
• Preparation of proposals/presentations using PowerPoint
• Use of proprietary company system to assist with creating reports, providing analysis, market research, filing and data entry
• Communication with various departments of Athletics and promotions personnel as well as Sports Properties sales staff. Some direct communication with clients/partners
• Office and administrative support
• Assist with game day program sales
• Handle other miscellaneous duties and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in a Customer Service, Sales, or Marketing related role is preferred
• High level of initiative, coupled with the ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to initiate and maintain personal relationships
• Highly organized; able to prioritize and execute tasks
• Focus on attention to detail; quality over quantity
• Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude under pressure
• Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; savvy with social media
• Ability to work flexible hours, including all home football and men’s basketball games

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $20.00 to $20.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
