Cockroach Labs is actively seeking a leader for our Corporate Marketing team, a role critical to steering our corporate marketing strategy with a focus on engaging IT decision-makers and architects, within our ideal customer profile (ICP). This leadership position demands a strategic thinker who excels in content marketing, social media, analyst relations, and public relations. A key aspect of this role involves working closely with peers in product marketing, demand generation, and brand teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to our marketing efforts. By aligning with these teams, you will ensure that our messaging, campaigns, and brand initiatives are thoroughly synchronized across all touchpoints, delivering a unified and compelling narrative that resonates deeply with our target market.
With your guidance, the corporate marketing strategy will not only embody the voice of our customer but also leverage insights from cross-functional collaboration with subject matter experts from R&D, Sales Engineering (SEs), and other departments. A key responsibility will also include mastering the distribution of content across platforms, ensuring that we are effectively repackaging and repromoting content to achieve the high ROI. This will involve a deep understanding of how to cut up and tailor content for different channels, maximizing reach and engagement with our ICP. To be eligible for this role, you must be based in NYC and will be expected to go into our Flatiron office on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays.

The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $215,000 to $290,000, plus commission if a sales role. We set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Actual salaries may vary and fall outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies. In addition, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. Salary is one component of the Cockroach Labs’ total rewards package, which includes stock options, health insurance, life and disability insurance, funds towards professional development resources, flexible PTO, paid holidays, and parental leave, to name a few!
