Sr Project Manager (Part time)

This is a fully remote position only available in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing assigned projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies. You will be responsible for anticipating and mitigating risks, dependencies, and impediments, and facilitating their resolution. Effective communication of mitigation plans and timely escalation of delays are essential parts of this role.

You will coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors across onshore, nearshore, and offshore locations. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to analyze problems and make strategic recommendations for improvements, focusing on growth opportunities, reducing operating expenses, and enhancing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and execution of assigned projects using agile and waterfall methodologies
• Anticipate and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments; facilitate resolutions, communicate mitigation plans, and escalate delays appropriately
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors (onshore, nearshore and offshore) 
• Analyze problems and make recommendations for improvements, including identifying and evaluating opportunities for growth, reduce operating expenses and improve performance
• Assist in the definition of scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Create and maintain forecast of resource availability, allocation, and capitalization
• Develop pragmatic and appropriate plans to monitor and communicate progress
• Identify and escalate issues to senior leadership as needed
• Measure team and portfolio performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Establish, maintain, and manage the relationships with technology leads, PMO, stakeholders and vendors 
• Support Product Management, Product Owner, and UI/UX functions
• Perform scrum master responsibilities as needed
• Manage initiatives and projects through the software development lifecycle (SLDC) phases, from backlog through business rollout
• Assist in the design and implementation of methodologies, processes and tools; continually monitor and improve delivery excellence for assigned team(s) and portfolio(s)
• Assist with product road mapping through close coordination with teams and stakeholders across Invitation Homes

Qualifications:

• Proven judgment and ability to manage portfolios of work
• Solid understanding of project management and agile principles, with the ability to teach and coach others
• Strong interpersonal, conflict management and communication skills 
• Effective documentation and reporting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Prefer experience with QuickBase, Jira and Confluence
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Agile training and certifications (CSM, CPO, etc.) are a plus
