We are the leading supplier of TV and Movie entertainment data. We supply data to leading entertainment platforms and devices. We are currently looking for a Rich Media Collector.
ROLE:
The Rich Media Collector will be expected to research, gather and process image assets from websites, studios, distributors and related sources in a timely and accurate manner for entry into an internal database. Communication with broadcasters and content providers will be expected in order to secure all necessary images. The successful candidate will work in a relaxed office environment and independently manage the given workload and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect photos, logos and other digital assets from publicists and websites to drive New Media products.
- Maintain an organised system of archiving photos and collection effort tracking.
- Label, colour-treat or resize photos as per required standards, aspect ratios and sizes.
- Initiate, track and maintain communication with broadcasters, and relevant content providers to achieve results.
- Process images in Photoshop.
- Support the Image Team in our international data management system
- Represent Gracenote to international Gracenote teams, external clients and stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Must be native or near-native in Portuguese and have good written and verbal skills.
- Passionate about TV and movies and the latest programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Communications or Media Design
- Proficiency with application software Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to work independently with excellent project and time management skills
- Strong client service orientation and excellent communication skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to adjust to rapidly shifting deadlines while remaining detail-oriented.
- Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening, night and weekend shifts.
- The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s office. Hybrid Workers are those employees who are working partially from home which is in the same city as the Nielsen office they are employed with and partially from a Nielsen office / site
