We are looking for a Junior Legal Professional in Riga, Latvia.
What you'll do:
- Contract and Document Management: Assistance and preparation of contracts, company acts, and other legal documentation. Management of the internal contract management tool, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for the company and other subsidiaries within Aleph Group.
- Corporate Governance and Compliance: Preparation of basic corporate governance documentation and other related matters for the company and subsidiaries. Ensuring compliance of regulations, policies, other acts, and documents with different legislations, laws, and legal acts.
- Legal Reporting and Business Support: Up-to-date, reliable, and professional preparation of legal reports and other necessary information for business decisions. Providing legal advice and assistance to other departments within the company and subsidiaries.
- Insurance, Intellectual Property, and Court Proceedings: Assistance with insurance matters and intellectual property registration procedures. Assistance with the preparation of legal documents for legal or court proceedings.
- Data Protection and HR Support: Assistance related to the implementation of GDPR policies and other documentation. Support to the HR department in the field of labor law and assistance in the preparation of employment documents.
What you need for this role:
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Basic understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to provide clear legal advice.
- Fluency in English.
