Air Conditioning Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems in commercial properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostic assessments on air conditioning equipment to determine the root cause of issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Efficiently respond to reactive maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and disruption to property occupants.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers and stakeholders to troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Perform routine servicing and inspections of air conditioning systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and delivering optimal performance.
- Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately and promptly in the designated systems.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, preferably within the commercial real estate sector.
- Extensive knowledge of various air conditioning and HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF, split systems, chilled water systems, and associated equipment.
- Recognized technical qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration, such as NVQ, City & Guilds Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
- F-Gas Certification is essential.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures related to air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- A proactive and customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites within the assigned region.
