Qualifications: - Skilled professional level written and verbal communication skills are required.
- MUST possess the tenacity and commitment to conduct intensive research on real estate documents and transactions.
- Prior experience in title insurance, real estate, mortgage processing or banking is preferred but not required.
- ADVANCED Computer Software Aptitude required.
- Advanced skill with all MS Office programs, especially MS Excel.
- Strong mathematical aptitude required.
- Ability to understand and operate successfully within an action-based workflow system (ResWare).
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
- High attention to detail is required as all positions involve responsibility for ensuring accuracy on critical real estate and mortgage lending documents
Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed real state (property, ownership/ chain of property title) record and legal research
- Perform skilled, expert level document review
- Resolve Inter-Department escalated issues
- Risk assessment of issues with respect to transaction operations
- Prepare and review deeds, affidavits and other legal documents
- Review and approve trusts
- Prepare and review TSGs, Mortgage Modification Endorsements, and other foreclosure related products
- Prepare and review additional unique or complex documents and products
