Manager Emergency services RN

• Florida RN licensure required.
• Must have an Associate degree in nursing.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS (if don’t have at the moment then must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date)
• 3+ years of clinical hospital experience in the ER department.
• At least 1-2+ years of leadership experience in the ER... ideally Assistant Nurse Manager/Manager candidates (will consider Supervisor/Charge RN but they must be strong on phone interviews)

• The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24-hour, seven day a week functions of a clinical nursing unit(s).
• Administers, plans, and evaluates the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care.
• Develops goals, policies, and procedures, prepares and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed.
• Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behavior.
