Would you like to join a Machine Learning team committed to personalising the experience for hundreds of millions of PlayStation users? The Machine Learning Engineers within the platform engineering group(PEG) deliver intelligence across PlayStation experiences and systems by designing, training, documenting, efficiently deploying, and evaluating large-scale machine learning models.

We are looking for someone who can build delightful experiences for millions, in an agile environment, collaborating with partners across Software Engineering, Product, and Business. Further, you will be immersed in groundbreaking ML technologies, tools and processes, as you help to advance our technical objectives and architectural initiatives.

You Will:

• Design and develop various machine learning models and systems for high-impact consumer-facing applications such as content personalization and product recommendations.
• Work with a broad spectrum of innovative deep learning technologies, in the areas of recommendation systems.
• Create metrics and design A/B test plan to evaluate model performance and convey our impacts to product and business partners.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners on design docs and code reviews.
• Produce insights from a large amount of dynamic structured and unstructured data
• Produce reusable code according to standard methodologies in Python

You Bring:

• Master's degree in CS/Statistics/Data Science, with a specialization in machine learning
• Experience with Python, especially popular ML libraries, such as PySpark, Tensorflow
• Work experience in designing and implementing large-scale recommender systems
• Experience in developing ML models for structured data
• Strong machine learning fundamentals, strong analytical thinking
• Experience with the latest industry knowledge in Generative AI technology with the ability to formulate GenAI specific use cases and implementations that are optimized for cost and scalability. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient with Machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, Kubeflow, Helm, Tecton, Jenkins
• Work experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests
• Familiarity with standard methods in large-scale DL training/Inference
• Experience in cloud-based environments, such as AWS
• Experience working with custom ML platforms
