Location Details: United States, Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is on a mission to empower small and medium entrepreneurs to sell anywhere. At GoDaddy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Onboarding to lead our Do-It-For-You (DIFY) services conversion and activation businesses.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to modernize our onboarding process by integrating it into the sales consultation stage. By applying transcription and gen-AI augmentation tools, you will contribute to achieving faster and more effective conversion and activation outcomes. This forward-thinking approach aims to provide customers with a seamless transition from sale to activation, resulting in a flawless onboarding experience.

What you'll get to do...

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to integrate onboarding into the sales consultation stage, ensuring a seamless transition for customers from sale to activation
  • Partner cross functionally with vendor partners, product, and engineering teams to leverage transcription and gen-AI augmentation tools to streamline the onboarding process, improving efficiency and customer happiness
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure a coordinated approach to onboarding that meets customer needs and drives business growth
  • Identify important measures and indicators to assess the efficiency of the onboarding process and make informed decisions to improve results
  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales and Onboarding leaders to deliver exceptional service and support to customers throughout their journey
  • Keep updated on industry trends and effective strategies in onboarding and sales to consistently improve and bring innovation to our processes

Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, onboarding, or customer success roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer happiness
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and a dedication to providing outstanding service and support
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to build and motivate teams that consistently achieve exceptional results
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence partners at all levels

You might also have...

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent experience
  • Experience with transcription and gen-AI augmentation tools is a plus
