Summary of role
The Sustainability Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting and advancing our company’s sustainability goals. You will work closely with the Vice President- Sustainability to support the delivery of our sustainability strategy. You will be responsible for analysing, reporting and improving our sustainability performance, ensuring that we meet regulatory requirements and align with industry best practices.
The Sustainability Analyst will focus on environmental data management and turning these into actionable insights for the business, as well as supporting employee engagement campaigns to drive action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals we have committed to.

Core Responsibilities
- Environmental data collection, management and analysis
- Carbon footprinting and greenhouse gas reporting
- Preparation of comprehensive sustainability reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Managing sustainability initiatives, such as our deal recognition efforts including tree planting
- Monitor and interpret emerging sustainability trends, regulations and standards
- Reviewing all completed deals to evaluate sustainability implications
- Competitor analysis to identify sustainability trends in our sector space
- Liaison with DC Advisory offices and International Sustainability Committee
- Supporting the VP Sustainability with implementation of sustainability initiatives
- Working with marketing team to promote sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally
- Conducting research on sustainability issues
- Internal, international stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Masters in Sustainability-related subject
- Excellent data analytical skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills which can be applied to presentations, stakeholder engagement and to drive employee engagement.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Personal drive to deliver high quality work, on time, to the necessary standard and a desire to learn, grow and develop
Desirable
- Knowledge of, or experience within, financial services
- Understanding of corporate sustainability
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting tools and software
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management
- Understanding of carbon reporting and environmental data management
- Knowledge of GHG protocols, SBTi, CDP, ESOS, SECR, EcoVadis, CSDR
