For the Cloud Devops Engineer position we expect you to:
- Closely collaborate with the Development teams under the DevOps model
- Manage and deliver cloud-based applications and services and the infrastructure that supports them
- Utilize Service Management systems for providing Services at the highest level under ITSM principles to meet Service Level targets
- Monitoring system performance and capacity utilization, perform problem Investigation and fault-finding
- Creating and maintaining deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, etc.
- Create and Maintain Technical Documentation
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
Your experience, skill set and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have:
- A University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another relevant discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
- Experience/knowledge in a set of the following areas will be required:
- Azure Cloud Workload Implementation, deployment, configuration, maintenance & monitor
- Working with Microsoft Azure networking, Azure virtual machines, Storage Accounts, Keyvaults, Application Services, and handling RBAC
- Implementing Build & Deployment Pipelines using CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps
- Practical experience in using version control systems & administering containerized solutions using Docker, Kubernetes and AKS
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.
- Administering Microsoft Windows OS family, Linux OS flavors, and also domain information utilities such as Active Directory, LDAP and DNS
- Understanding of Relational Database theory and logic, and knowledge in the Setup & Administration of any Database will be useful.
- Programming with common scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) or programming (Java, .Net) languages
