Senior Software Developer (Messaging)

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a Sr. Software Developer (Messaging Provisioning) who will lead by example in designing and developing solutions for reputation management and number provisioning.

You are the right candidate if...

• You are able to work independently to solve and debug tough issues and have a proven track record of being able to successfully unblock yourself when solving complex technical problems.
• You are a clear communicator and are able to clearly describe the work you are doing and any issues you are facing.

What You'll Do:

• Create and maintain REST APIs (Java/Spring)
• Build and deploy applications for the cloud in AWS including creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Write and maintain unit, functional, and end to end tests for the code that you write
• Work with a team of full stack developers with experience building distributed, multi-service systems
• Participate in  productive code reviews and adhere to team-defined-defined coding standards as you create products
• Support the products you work on in our on-call rotation
• Design, document, review with the team, and then build, test, and deploy Java-based software on the Spring platform, exposing REST APIs to other services and customers;

What You Need:

If you’re our person, you probably look like this:

• You have 5+ years experience building web services in Java and Spring
• An understanding of network protocols, HTTP, and REST
• Experience working with distributed systems, specifically the ability to debug issues across correlated microservices
• Experience with SQL and relational database systems
• Experience with unit and functional testing
• A 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience
