Rental Account Manager - Commercial Trucking

Miller Transportation Group is looking for a Rental Account Manager to support our growing company in the Northern NJ area. This position is an addition to our sales team and will require a combination of account management and outside sales techniques. Ideal applicants will have commercial truck rental experience and the ability to work independently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sell commercial truck rental services to businesses in accordance with established company guidelines
• Responsible to follow the company's merchandising plan in developing the rental customer base on both an aggregate and branch basis
• Act as a liaison between internal customers such as the maintenance department, lease sales representatives, and administration
• Knowledgeable of trucks, truck equipment, and trucking regulations

Requirements

You Have:

• A valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Associate's Degree
• Prior Commercial Truck Rental experience
• Outside sales experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
• Willingness to travel as necessary

You May Also Have:

• A Bachelor's Degree
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
