After-School Childcare Teacher

Part-Time After-School Teacher | Moncks Corner

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a part-time After-School Teacher for our center in Moncks Corner. Opportunity to pick up full time hours working in other classrooms while school is in session and during school out days.

Pay rate of $13- $18 per hour, based on experience, education and credentials.

Some Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Transport children from school to the center.
• Use curriculum studies to create lesson plans that you and your students will love. Don’t worry, we have lots of ideas to choose from.
• Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
• Provide a safe and inclusive classroom.
• Apply knowledge of child development to foster relationships with children and tailor the play-based environment.
• Have fun!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years old.
• ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center preferred.
• Must be able to work until closing (6:00 p.m.)
