SolarWinds - IT Intern

Responsibilities

• Maintain Development and Production SolarWinds Environments
• Work with internal IT team to identify why systems are sending out false positives
• Inventory of Neovest infrastructure
• Responsible for putting together KPI's and Alerting for issues
• Windows and Linux Servers
• Monitoring of APIs
• Create and Modify SolarWinds Dashboards (Views)
• Create Custom Reports to track application performance and business metrics
• Configure new alerts and modify existing alerts as needed
• Configure Web Performance Monitor (WPM) recordings for websites
• Develop PowerShell scripts for monitoring needs
• Develop scripts to automate actions within SolarWinds via the SolarWinds API
• Assist L1 Systems Operations and Monitoring team with monitoring escalations
• Provide on-call support as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ Years SolarWinds Administration experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Understanding of SolarWinds components
• Understanding of SolarWinds API and an ability to create scripts to utilize the API
• Strong understanding of Powershell and Linux scripting technologies
• Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux operating system
