Whether through hands-on experience, professional development, or collaborative projects, you’ll grow both professionally and personally.</li><li><strong>Community</strong>: Join a diverse, passionate team that <a href="https://www.notion.so/automatatech/Company-Events-f174a58c58d743c4a47ca4c189c0ddd8">values collaboration</a> (golf on a Thursday, Soccer once a month, movie nights whenever we fancy it).</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>In this role, you will be responsible for:</strong><br></p><p dir="ltr">• Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality and innovative product solutions.<br>• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to discover and deliver user-centred solutions. <br>• Champion an evidence based approach to understanding user and business needs, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly to inform and validate design decisions.<br>• Conduct in-depth user research through interviews, observations, and data analysis to uncover insights that inform design strategy.<br>• Create detailed flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate the user experience.<br>• Rapidly prototype to quickly create, test, and iterate ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams. <br>• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design process.<br>• Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.<br></p><p><strong>What it takes:</strong></p><p>• 5 + years proven experience as a UX or product designer with a robust portfolio showcasing design excellence.<br>• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.<br>• Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles, user research, interaction design, and information architecture.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional teams and enable consensus.<br>• Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and an appetite for solving complex and ambiguous problems. <br>• Experience in crafting complex, integrated experiences for B2B or bio-tech products.<em><br></em></p><p>At Automata, we're transforming the way labs work with open, integrated automation.
