Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resource Manager to join our group. As the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, ensuring the effective management of our diverse and talented workforce. This is a critical role that requires a high level of professionalism, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of the restaurant and bar.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR needs, and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.

2. Recruitment and Selection:
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment and selection, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other relevant sources to attract top talent.
- Ensure that the recruitment process is fair, transparent, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Develop and implement employee recognition programs to motivate and reward employees for their contributions.

4. Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

5. Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal requirements.
- Conduct regular market research to benchmark salaries and benefits against industry standards.
- Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.

6. HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance.

7. HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Compile and analyze HR data and metrics to generate reports and insights for management decision-making.
- Prepare regular HR reports, including turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and training effectiveness.
- Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and propose strategies for improving HR practices and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Strong recruitment and selection skills, with experience in sourcing and attracting top talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Solid understanding of compensation and benefits programs, including payroll administration.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and generate meaningful reports.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
