Pinterest’s Small & Medium Business team connects small and medium size businesses with their customers and helps them grow. We’re looking for an experienced leader to oversee our (Europe SMB Agency / Europe SMB Client Direct) sales teams. The Director role will drive our go-to-market strategy, manage a large and mature sales and operations organization, and build sales programs and processes that will impact thousands of small and medium business customers across Europe. Success in this position requires a strong ability to lead and inspire a team, sales and operations expertise, analytical skills to make data-driven decisions, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a highly dynamic team environment.
What you’ll do:
- Own and execute our go-to-market strategy for our Europe SMB Agency or Europe SMB Client Direct
- Lead a high-performing team of Pinterest FTEs who manage our vendor sales functions (SDRs, Partner Managers and Account Managers), to deliver against quarterly revenue targets
- Execute and lead a globally aligned strategy in the region, while influencing the executive leadership team with prioritized regional needs and insights
- Achieve revenue targets through effective planning, setting of sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
- Implement processes and strategies to scale SMB programs and revenue across a diverse set of customers
- Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to sales leadership and cross functional stakeholders
- Motivate and develop sales talent, creating a positive culture of accountability
- Work cross-functionally and build cohesive partnerships with internal stakeholders including product, sales operations, and marketing
- Manage relationship with Pinterest’s vendor partners
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising, and sales leadership
- A data-driven leader with the proven ability to lead large sales and account management organizations against aggressive goals
- Extensive experience in growing and scaling businesses and setting GTM strategy with demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets
- Management experience with a demonstrated track record of leading and inspiring others
- Ability to manage complex cross functional relationships with Product and Executive leadership teams
- Experience in process management and operations management, with particular expertise in a metrics driven approach
- Ability to extract insights from data to inform strategic decisions and translate to an action plan
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Strong understanding of the regional markets and nuances within Europe
- Experience working with outsourced vendors is a plus
- Fluent in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity software

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2-3 times per week in our Dublin office (and for, Annual Global Offsites, Bi-annual regional offsites) and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Dublin office.
