Job Summary

The Support Billing Agent is responsible for managing and resolving a wide range of customer billing and subscription-related issues. This role demands a strong understanding of Gingr’s billing processes, customer service skills, and the ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and empathy. The Billing Agent will work closely with customers to ensure their subscription needs are met while also supporting the company's customer retention goals. 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist customers with billing inquiries, including invoice clarification, payment issues, and pricing questions. 
  • Resolve billing disputes, provide clear explanations for charges, and process refunds, credits, and adjustments as needed. 
  • Investigate and resolve payment failures, declined transactions, and other billing-related issues. 
  • Handle subscription-related requests, including upgrades, downgrades, renewals, and cancellations. 
  • Manage recurring billing processes, ensure accurate invoicing, and monitor account balances to notify customers of overdue payments. 
  • Update customer billing information, including payment methods and contact details 
  • Assist customers with unlocking and deleting apps that have been restricted or need removal due to billing issues. 
  • Facilitate the process of transferring account ownership when a business changes hands 
  • Implement retention strategies to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value. 
  • Participate in ad hoc projects related to Gingr subscriptions and Gingr subscription updates. 
  • Maintain Gingr’s Hubspot CRM 

Requirements 

  • Strong understanding of billing processes, subscription management, and relevant regulations 
  • Proficiency in billing software, CRM systems, and integrated payment systems 
  • Collaborative team player with project management abilities   
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and multitasking abilities  
  • Knowledge of customer retention strategies  
  • Gingr App Software knowledge a plus

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.

Salary 

US Remote: $41,000 USD per year
