The agency, its people and client campaigns have won many prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions, Holmes Report, ICCO, PRCA and European Excellence. </p><p><strong>Purpose of the role</strong></p><p>The Client Engagement Director plays a strategic role in the management of key regional clients and execution of new business and client upsell activity. This role is France-focused and is twofold: </p><ul><li>Support new business opportunities for TEAM LEWIS by identifying and proactively approaching potential prospects</li><li>Drive management of key regional accounts, key campaign execution and building client relationships </li></ul><p><strong>Key responsibilities and tasks</strong></p><p><em>New Business </em></p><ul> <li>Supports the regional head or office leader in the new business process for key prospects, playing a crucial role in selling TEAM LEWIS credentials throughout the tender process</li> <li>Develop compelling content and events to drive lead generation and engagement for the agency across the region</li> <li>Understands and capitalises on the unique selling points of TEAM LEWIS and is able to leverage these against competitor offerings</li> <li>Develops and maintains a map of relevant businesses and organisations, making use of this knowledge to create targeted campaigns and maximise the impact of approaches</li> <li>Identifies and drives cascade opportunities between practices/services and within the TEAM LEWIS network</li> <li>Writes and compiles compelling credentials and RFI and RFP responses (within deadline) with the aim of securing pitch opportunities</li> <li>Puts in place and monitors pitch schedules to ensure that the pitch process is on track and deadlines are met</li></ul><p><em>Management of Key Regional Accounts</em></p><ul> <li>Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, establishing self and TEAM LEWIS as an invaluable long-term partner for marketing and communications services</li> <li>Works closely with the client and account lead to regularly review account performance, identifying and communicating opportunities for additional PR, marketing and digital services</li> <li>Adds value to new business pitches by providing support with coordination, content generation and presentation preparation, in addition to attendance</li> <li>Supports execution on key campaigns and provides consultative advice on tactical communications activity</li></ul><p><em>Team working and development </em></p><ul> <li>Ensures personal and deliverable objectives are met on an on-going basis </li> <li>Works closely with line manager to maximise own strengths, improve weaknesses and support individual and team career development</li> <li>Supports with the training of graduates and interns wherever possible</li></ul><p><em>General</em></p><ul> <li>Supports training sessions where relevant, with a view to maximising opportunities to expand team skills and grow revenues</li> <li>Takes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, its identity, values and work </li> <li>Supports the HR / talent team by promoting, both internally and externally, opportunities at TEAM LEWIS across social media and via the referral scheme</li> <li>Maintains a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of industry (competitors’ and clients’) activities</li> <li>Overall, acts as a guardian of best practice</li></ul><p><strong>About you </strong></p><ul> <li>Demonstrable success at securing new business and account management</li> <li>Highly commercial, with a proven track record of commercially impacting a business via lead generation and strategic client consultancy</li></ul><ul><li>Relevant experience of working in a B2B, corporate, consumer or digital communications agency environment </li><li>Has a solid understanding of the wider communications and marketing industry</li></ul><ul> <li>Well versed in social media and the integrated selling of digital marketing within a wider communications context </li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li></ul><p style="color:white;">#li-am1</p><p><strong><em>This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role.
