Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: Up to $70,000

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Professional to manage the full-cycle accounts payable process for our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reports. Your expertise in accounts payable, combined with strong organizational skills, will contribute to the efficiency of our financial operations. Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including reviewing, coding, and processing invoices and expense reports.
• Ensure on-time payment of vendor invoices while maintaining accurate records and proper documentation.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure the AP subledger is accurately reflected in the general ledger.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and manage the approval workflow.
• Prepare weekly and monthly accounts payable reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Monitor AP aging reports to ensure timely vendor payments and maintain optimal cash flow management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of AP operations.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains is a plus.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes and best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
