Systems Engineer - Remote

Required:

• Be able to perform system implementation (automated and maintenance) on-premises and cloud (AWS)
• Infrastructure-as-code (IAC) experience with Terraform
• Experience with AWS-related platforms including CloudFormation, and Lambda
• Containerization experience with Docker
• Experience with automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• Linux proficiency - knowledge of Windows and Linux servers required
• Ensure scalability of cloud infrastructure meets performance and capacity
• Manage and monitor data center environments
• 1 year of experience in systems engineering
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with scripting languages
• Knowledge of networking (SAN/LAN)
• Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot server/network issues as well as production issues
• Be available for on-call rotations

Desired

• Be able to participate in deep architectural discussions ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment, security and high availability 
• Ability to design and maintain the customer-facing and corporate data center technologies with a focus on infrastructure as a service (IaaS) 
• Effective communication with business partners 
• Experience with taking projects from initial concept through planning and implementation 
• Technical certifications (MTA, MCSA, MCITP, MCSE, etc.)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to computer science or information technology or equivalent experience
