Frontend Software Engineer - React / NextJS

Main Purpose of the role

1GLOBAL is seeking a talented Frontend Software Engineer with expertise in React and Next.js to join our team. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, ensuring a great user experience and high performance. You will collaborate with the design and backend teams to implement user-facing features and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using React and Next.js
• Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and responsive web interfaces
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Work closely with the backend team to integrate with RESTful APIs
• Write efficient, clean, and reusable code
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• Strong experience in frontend development using React and Next.js
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript
• Experience with css frameworks like tailwind
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
• Experience with using and building RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and workflows
• Understanding of version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
